----------------------------------

A definite fan favorite in the world of professional wrestling, or at least he would have you believe that.

Dancing fool, wrestling mastermind, or just plain out nut case, whatever word or phrase you use to describe the Disco Inferno, you can't deny the man's natural athletic ability in the ring.

Whether he is on the microphone, sitting at ringside with Jeremy Borash calling action, or in the ring destroying an opponent with his devastating "Last Dance" chin breaker/ stunner maneuver, he is one of wrestling's true finds.

Early in the Disco Inferno's career he invented a submission move, that according to him was inescapable. However, there was a catch. This move was so difficult to execute successfully the Disco Inferno would have to consult a piece of paper at ringside, where he would have the instructions for the move mapped out step by step.

As you can imagine the Disco Inferno did not pick up many victories with this maneuver, and his career would kick into overdrive, after the discovery of the finisher "The Chart Buster" (now "The Last Dance" - a stunner), which would eventually lead to a win over the then WCW Television Champion, (and the other dancing fool in WCW at the time) Alex Wright.

Disco Inferno would hold onto this title for nearly two months, where he would loose the title to Perry Saturn, and eventually win it back from him not too long after. Disco Inferno would eventually loose the WCW Television Title to Booker T.

After this Disco Inferno would become Scott Hall's shadow, after wanting to become a part of the New World Order, even being an integral part of Bill Goldberg's first professional wrestling defeat, at WCW Starrcade 1998.

After this he would join forces with Alex Wright as a tag team.

Disco Inferno again would taste singles gold, where he defeated Psicosis for the WCW Cruiserweight Title, holding the title for about a month.

The New World Order was not the only faction he was a member of. He joined the "Filthy Animals", where he changed his name to Disqo, in order to keep up with the other, "cooler", members of the group. It is also around this time when Disco, I mean Disqo, introduced the good fans of WCW to his duck.

After this Disco realigned with his good friend Alex Wright, and they created a tag team called "The Boogie Knights".

Not long after that WCW went under, Disco Inferno was on a plane that went Down Under, where he would be one of the premiere wrestlers with the new promotion, World Wrestling Allstars.

Wrestling on their first show on the 19th October 2001, he faced Buff Bagwell. This would be his first tour of many. Few actually know this but the Disco Inferno, is the only wrestler to have appeared on every World Wrestling Allstars tour.

Disco Inferno, to my knowledge, was the very first man to take place in an event called the "Banana Toss". If you aren't sure of what I mean, take a look at The Inception, where he threw a full grown banana off the top of a 15ft cage, and through a table.

At the Revolution pay per view from Las Vegas, Disco Inferno was the recipient of a beating from "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner, and at Eruption, it didn't get much better for Disco Inferno, where he was beat down by a "gang of kids" (as he would have you believe) whilst Ernest "The Cat" Miller and Brian "Grandmaster" Christopher looked on

For Revolution, Eruption, Retribution and The Reckoning, The Disco Inferno provided WWA fans with his own unique brand of commentary, which is both entertaining and informing at the same time.

The Disco Inferno also wrestles with NWA: Total Nonstop Action, where he uses his real name Glen Gilbertti and leads Sports Entertainment Xtreme.

Recently Disco won a battle royal which made him the number 1 contender for the NWA Heavyweight Title, proof that his career has come full circle.

On The Reckoning tour, on a house show in Melbourne, Australia (23/5/03), Disco Inferno challenged Sting for the WWA title. Sting would eventually triumph, but Disco put up one hell of a fight.

Disco Inferno, or Glen Gilbertti, what ever you wish to call him is now a major contender for any title, anywhere in the world, and Disco is now ready to silence his critics and make them believers, like he has so many others.
