A man of few words, that does his talking in the ring...

Jerry Lynn claims that he wrote the book on cruiserweight, light heavyweight, x-division, style wrestling, a statement not easily backed up. However it is easily seen in his matches, as Jerry Lynn destroys his opponents, both gracefully and brutally.

However wrestling such a dangerous style of wrestling has taken it's toll on "The New F'N Show", Jerry Lynn. During his lengthy time in the sport Lynn has broken both feet, both ankles, both hands, his right arm, his pelvic bone, his nose, as well as suffering (what would be for others a career ending injury) a torn abdominal as well as a torn patella tendon.

Jerry Lynn has been a part of the "big three" (WCW, ECW & WWE) and currently wrestles for both the World Wrestling Allstars, and NWA: Total Nonstop Action.

In Extreme Championship Wrestling, Jerry Lynn actually broke the 23 month winning streak of Rob Van Dam, and then climbed to even greater heights by defeating Justin Credible, to become the ECW Heavyweight Champion.

During his tenure in the WWE, Jerry Lynn would capture the WWF Light Heavyweight Title from Crash Holly, in his WWF television debut. Obviously Jerry Lynn is a believer in making ground breaking first impressions, as his WWA debut was just as memorable, and twice as surprising!

Jerry Lynn shocked the wrestling world (as there were few who knew he and WWE parted ways) by debuting with the WWA at their second pay per view (live from Las Vegas) Revolution, where only moments after Eddie Guererro won the WWA International Cruiserweight Title, Lynn attacked the champion, and challenged him to a match at Eruption.

Eddie and Jerry would not face each other for the title, as Eddie would move onto sign with the WWE. However in it's place the world would first be exposed to, what would later be referred to as one of the greatest wrestling feuds in recent wrestling.

It is in the WWA where Jerry Lynn vs. AJ Styles first took place. If you think their match ups on NWA: Total Nonstop Action, are fast paced, in your face, and (excuse the cliché) jam packed of total nonstop action, nothing can beat the original match that took place at WWA's third pay per view Eruption!

AJ Styles would defeat Jerry Lynn on this occasion, also capturing the vacant WWA International Cruiserweight Title.

The AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn saga continued in NWA: Total Nonstop Action, where AJ and Jerry Lynn would be a part of the match to crown the first ever X-Division champion, and would also later go on to wrestle alongside each other, rather then against each other, and capture the NWA Tag Team Titles.

Fast forward to May of 2003, Jerry Lynn captured WWA gold, winning a mini-tournament in Sydney, Australia (21/5/03), defeating the NWA: Total Nonstop Action X-Division Champion at the time, Chris Sabin.

However the celebration would not last long, a successful defense in Melbourne, then Jerry Lynn would travel to New Zealand, to compete in a four way cruiserweight match, that would unify both the X-Division and WWA International Cruiserweight Title, at The Reckoning. This match was referred to by some as the best match in WWA's short history. Unfortunately Jerry Lynn would not be the victor this time, with Chris Sabin, the X-Division champion, pinned Frankie Kazarian, using the "Future Shock".
