----------------------------------
A
monster of a man, a force of destruction and sheer devastation.
Originally
debuting as the bodyguard for Berlyn (aka Alex Wright), and with
this mammoth of a man by your side, who wouldn't feel safe!
He
would eventually leave Berlyn for dead, where he would go onto
wrestle in WCW as "The Wall", where he waged wars with
such wrestlers as Shane Douglas and even got to wrestle Hulk Hogan
in a main event of a WCW Nitro.
The
man mountain became apart of the MIA (Misfits in Action), joined by
such wrestlers as Hugh Morrus (General Rection), Chavo Guererro Jr.
(Lt. Loco), and Lash Leroux (Corporal Cajan), where he was known as
Sgt. AWOL.
After
the demise of WCW, Malice became a part of the XWF, a promotion that
promised great things, but eventually folded.
From
then he moved onto the NWA: Total Nonstop Action (the first place
where he would be called Malice), competing on their first show, in
the "Gauntlet for the Gold". A concept where the match
would be fought under battle royal rules, until it got to the final
two competitors, that would wrestle then under normal match rules -
a win via pinfall or submission. The winner would be crowned the
first NWA Champion of the TNA era.
Malice
made it to the end of the "Gauntlet for the Gold" only to
be defeated by Ken Shamrock.
From
that Malice would go on to become part of the faction known as
"The New Church" managed by Minister Jim Mitchell
(Sinister Minister/ James Vandenburg), destroying all those in his
path.
The
Powers that be at WWA HQ, spotted this mad man, and invited him to
be a part of the World Wrestling Allstars, where he would compete in
a tour of Europe in 2002, leaving casualties all across the great
lands of England and Scotland. He impressed WWA officials so much
that he received a WWA Title shot in Zurich, Switzerland - however
it would Sting who would capture the WWA title this time.
Without
a doubt this is not the last time we have seen manic big man and
enigma, known as Malice.
