----------------------------------
"The Future" Chris Sabin was trained
by current WWA Talent Coordinator, Scott D'Amore, and it is not hard
to realize why he was the standout performer of the Can-Am Wrestling
School. In just three short years Chris Sabin has appeared from
virtually nowhere and carved himself as one of the top talents in
the world of professional wrestling.
Debuting
in NWA: Total Nonstop Action in 2003, Chris Sabin impressed the TNA
booking committee so much so that they gave him a shot at the
X-Division Title. Chris Sabin defeated Amazing Red for the title.
In
May 2003, during a tour of Australia and New Zealand, Chris Sabin
debuted with the World Wrestling Allstars, where his first match
would see him placed in a mini tournament, in Sydney on the 21st
May, to crown a new WWA International Cruiserweight champion. Sabin
would advance to the final round, where he would be defeated by
Jerry Lynn, however it would be only four days later where Sabin
would walk away with the win, and for all the marbles!
At
WWA's fifth pay per view, The Reckoning, Chris Sabin would
put his NWA: Total Nonstop Action X-Division Title on the line
against Jerry Lynn's WWA International Cruiserweight Title (which he
won from the Sydney House show on the 21st of May), in a four way
match, which also featured Johnny Swinger and Frankie Kazarian.
After a grueling 20 minute plus match, Chris Sabin left the arena
the unified champion!
What
the future holds for this man is anyone's guess, but one can be
assured that a man so good this early in his career can only
strive for one thing... perfection!
